The last newsletter didn’t come naturally to me despite really enjoying doing it, my days are pretty boring right now (in the best way) so writing about it felt hard despite it being so well received (thank you ♥️♥️). I of course found myself writing about the fashion and sourcing looks to go with, which makes sense - that’s what I do. So I broke the newsletter up into two parts.

This week’s Part Two focuses on outfit suggestions for how I’m wanting to dress right now, and I suspect others are also: easy, cute, elevated, everyday casual. It doesn’t quite roll off the tongue so I wont try and make it a thing, and I guess it’s technically just a form of smart casual, but thats not it.

Despite motherhood giving me a fresh serving of ‘I-don’t-give-a-fuck-what-you-think-of-me-or-what-i’m-wearing’, there’s also a little extra sensitivity and possibly equal part of' ‘ok-I-actually-really-do-care-please-tell-me-i’m-beautiful-and-doing-a-good-job’ (to quote Annie again: ‘Contradictions. The day — life — is full of them’). So dressing must be easy and must make me feel good. Enter, my outfit formula.

So for go-to cute, easy, elevated, everyday casual (CEEEC? CEE-CEE? .. NOPE): pair your more formal pieces, or those that are perhaps typically less ‘comfortable’ (Eg. bold jewellery, heels, a strapless top, strappy sandal etc.) back with your more casual and comfy items (a cardigan, boxer shorts, rugby jumper etc). You end up looking so much more at home in an outfit when you’re comfortable, which hopefully means confident and in turn sexy. If that’s what you’re after.

Anywho, I’ve broken the looks up into five separate occasions:

  • Pyjamas but not

  • Activewear, but make it a look

  • The travelling titty bar

  • Jeans-and-a-nice-top formula

  • Friday night, pretending I have a life

Something to note is that there are some verrrry serious Black Friday deals in the below outfits so proceed with caution. I have listed the prices at full RRP so make sure you follow the links to view the sale prices, the majority being around 25-30% off. Woof.

Thanks for being here with us, it makes us so happy.

Sophie x

PS. This weeks newsletter is paid, because us gals gotta eat (and we’re both still eating for two so we’re damn hungry). A monthly paid subscription is the equivalent of buying us a weekly $2 tuckshop lunch, and we promise the content is as good as an after-school Calippo.

Pyjamas but not

The key here is feeling like you’re wearing PJ’s but not looking so: one of my very favourite ways to dress.
