We drafted this guide last week, before the horror of Sunday evening unfolded in Sydney and everything changed. Gifts, shopping and end-of-year festivities are now the last things on our minds. Nevertheless, we’re putting this gift guide out there in case it can serve as a momentary distraction for anyone feeling the grief and shock of this dark moment in our beautiful country’s history.
